Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Complicated by an Indirect Annuloplasty Device Blocking Targeted Side Branch

Abstract

Percutaneous indirect annuloplasty with the Carillon Mitral Contour System (Cardiac Dimensions) is a promising novel technique to treat functional mitral regurgitation (MR). Yet, it is implanted into the coronary sinus and may therefore prevent the application of other devices targeting the same anatomical structure.
