Abstract
The IMPACT2C web-atlas is a web-based climate service product. It presents the project results of the inter- and transdisciplinary project IMPACT2C in a harmonized format, available via www.atlas.impact2c.eu. It is targeted at a wide audience for the purpose of awareness raising and supporting decision makers in policy negotiations. Therefore, this tool reveals a simple presentation of complex interlinked structures, provides short key messages and has a consistent appearance throughout. How multiple results were streamlined into such a single cohesive design is addressed in this article. The facilities of the web-atlas are presented exemplary along the topic of stream-flow droughts of the Danube. Furthermore, a potential application for the Danube Strategy is discussed.
