%T Simulations for the design of a MH/PCM energy storage system prototype in the HyCARE project

%X The HyCARE project was started to test the combination of a MH-based hydrogen storage system with a PCM-based heat storage system. The target of this combination was an energy consumption lower than 15 kJ/mol H2. In order to investigate the thermal behaviour of both systems, FEM simulations were carried out prior to the construction of a 1/5th scale prototype.
