AE measurements could especially be used for analysing the activity of twinning. It was shown that the grain size has an important impact on the AE count rates which was directly related to the activity of deformation mechanisms. Small changes in the texture can significantly affect the activity of twins. It was further shown that a weak texture promotes ductility.
